Leak Test (LT) Examination
Leak tests are used to detect fluid or gas leaks through very fine defects, cracks or pores in materials, welds, pipes and pressure equipment. This method ensures safe operation and compliance with quality standards.
Main applications:
Leak detection in pipes, tanks and pressure vessels
Checking the tightness of welds and mechanical joints

Methods used:
Soap bubbles / detector liquids – for visual identification of leaks
Tracer gas test (helium, hydrogen) – extremely sensitive, used in critical equipment
