Manual Phased Array Ultrasound Examination
PAUT uses multiple element transducers (16–64), each individually pulsing to generate ultrasonic waves at different angles. This technology allows for complete weld coverage and rapid detection of internal defects (cracks, inclusions), with real-time visual display on the screen.
