Phased Array Ultrasound Examination (PAUT) - Semi-automatic
PAUT uses one or more multi-element transducers (16–64), each individually pulsed to generate ultrasonic beams at varying angles. This technology allows complete weld coverage and rapid detection of internal defects (cracks, inclusions), with real-time visual display on the screen.
