Pulse-Echo ultrasound examination allows identification of internal discontinuities in materials and welded joints, providing accurate results for a wide range of materials, from carbon steel and alloys, to concrete or composite materials.

Main applications:

  • Detection of internal discontinuities in materials and welded joints

  • Inspection of sheet metal, castings and forgings

Types of examinations:

  • Pulse-Echo Ultrasound with longitudinal and transverse waves

Advantages:

  • High sensitivity and high mobility

  • Can be used on non-magnetic materials and for internal discontinuities

  • Does not require special radiation protection precautions (unlike radiography)

  • Allows precise determination of the position of the discontinuity

  • The device is easy to transport and use
